Chicken shop bombarded with fake reviews after throwing out Tommy Robinson
Far right extremist Tommy Robinson was refused service by a chicken shop after staff members recognised him.
The English Defence League founder, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, visited Wing Kingz, a newly opened American-style diner in Milton Keynes, on Saturday evening.
Video shared on social media shows the far-right extremist complaining that all staff at the restaurant, which serves 28 styles of chicken and vegan wings, refused to serve him when they realised who he was.
Furious, the 38-year-old pulled out his mobile phone to record footage and accused the restaurant of discrimination.
He filmed the faces of staff members and threatened to get ‘500 people down there to get the restaurant shut down’.
One waitress hits back at him: ‘Unfortunately, none of us are happy to serve you so can you please leave the restaurant because you will not be sitting here today.’
Another man steps in and says ‘please leave, we are full up’.
The anti-Islamist activist later posted the video on social media platform Telegram.
In it, he said: ‘I’ve gone to Milton Keynes with my children to have dinner at a new restaurant. I’ve gone in, I’ve sat down and then I’ve been told I need to leave.
‘They can’t give me an answer, just who I am. Do you know what I found – it’s a black owned business.
‘So what I’m shocked at is that the biggest snowflakes in Milton Keynes can’t handle someone else having a different opinion. And they need to feel comfortable apparently. The staff don’t feel comfortable.’
‘We are a diverse business with customers and staff from all backgrounds and are committed to creating a safe, comfortable environment for everyone who steps through our doors.’
Thames Valley Police confirmed to Milton Keynes Citizen that a report of harassment has been received.
