Chelsea Flower Show gardens: What time does it open today? What gardens are on show?

The Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower Show opens today and visitors can attend the numerous gardens until Saturday, May 25. Located at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, the Chelsea Flower Show is the favourite of royals, with Kate, Duchess of Cambridge having designed a garden for this year’s show. The Queen also attended the show, a day before it opened to the public to view the gardens.

What time does the Chelsea Flower Show open today?

The Chelsea Flower Show opens at 8am each day from Tuesday, May 21 to Friday, May 24.

On these dates, it will close at 8pm but on the last day of the show, the opening times differ.

On Saturday, May 25, the show will open at 8am but will close earlier at 5.30pm.

At 4pm on the last day of the show, the plant sell-off will begin.

Unfortunately, tickets for the show across the whole week are sold out.

The RHS Back To Nature Garden is designed by Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and is “inspired by childhood memories and with families in mind”.

Kate, Prince William and their three children visited the garden – and adorable photos show the family playing amidst the plants and water.

Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, four and Prince Louis, one, were seen laughing as they explored the garden their mother had designed.
