Charles has failed to suppress Harry and Meghan’s ‘vitriol’ – expert

GB News: Presenter asks if Harry and King Charles are too busy

King Charles has failed to suppress Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s “vile vitriol” as he is “paralysed with fear”, an expert has claimed. In a recent interview, royal author Tom Bower suggested that the Susssexes’ recent media adventures, which culminated in the release of Harry’s tell-all memoir, Spare, have been highly critical of the royals. Bower believes the couple’s campaign should have got them stripped from the Coronation guestlist.

Reports have swirled for months around whether the Duke and Duchess will receive an invite to the monarch’s Coronation on May 6

Royal expert Tom Bower believes Charles fears the repercussions of barring the Sussexes from the Coronation, despite their “gross” insults towards the Royal Family.

“Paralysed by fear and indecision, Charles has failed to suppress the Sussexes’ vile vitriol,” Bower said.

“In calculating whether to allow the Sussexes to attend his Coronation, Charles has reverted to his familiar stance — dithering, worrying about his image.”

The royal author continued: “Instead of outrightly telling Harry that his gross insults towards Camilla, and William and Kate, bar him from Westminster Abbey, Charles is prevaricating and forgetting that the Coronation is not a family affair — it is the most important event in the life of a monarch.”

Bower also claimed in The Sun that Charles “needs to conjure a glorious image of his reign, and that means making many tough decisions”.

Charles’ Coronation is on May 6th at Westminster Abbey, with the Sussex royals not confirmed to attend.

Royal expert Christine Ross suggested to Express.co.uk that Meghan and Harry will play a reduced role, saying: “I suspect the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend the Coronation, and it will be up to the royal planning committees to ensure the focus remains on King Charles III.

“The Platinum Jubilee was a good example on balancing the Duke and Duchess’s presence versus their actual public facetime.”

It comes after Dan Wootton and Nile Gardener both bashed Harry and Meghan on GB News, with the Duke dubbed a “spoilt brat”.

“I think that King Charles has actually been extremely generous towards Harry and I have to say that Harry’s behaved like a completely spoilt brat,” Nile said on the programme.

Another guest Nina Myskow fired back: “He is not a spoilt brat.

“He is a young man who was protecting his family, and served his country well and who was pushed out by the Royal Family.”

And Christopher Andersen claimed Charles is “still furious” with his son for the bombshell accusations made in his memoir, Spare.

He told Fox News: “Even if Harry did wish to reconcile ahead of the coronation, it’s highly doubtful he’d get a warm reception.

“William appears to have thrown up his hands in disgust. Charles III is still furious over Harry’s devastating portrayal of his wife, Camilla, as a villainous schemer in his bombshell memoir.”
