Charles and Camilla’s hidden Christmas card detail shows royals’ passion ‘Did you notice?’

Prince Charles and Camilla: Experts discuss Christmas card

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, have highlighted the Prince of Wales’ passion for environmentalism in a new photograph. The couple had released their official Christmas card for this year, which is a picture of them in a Balmoral garden. However, Royal Rota podcast hosts Chris Ship and Lizzie Robinson managed to notice an extra detail.

Mr Ship told listeners: “Charles and Camilla’s didn’t look very festive, did it?

“It looked like it was taken at the height of the summer in Birkhall.

“They spent most of the summer in Balmoral in any case.

“Everything was in kind of full bloom as well.”

Ms Robinson added: “I don’t know if you noticed but there were lots of bees on the plants in the foreground of the photo.

“That little detail is very very them.

“I would have thought that any flowers that Prince Charles plants are pollinators and will be bee-friendly.

“So that doesn’t surprise us at all.”

The royal commentators also noticed the contrast in the release of Charles and Camilla’s card from the Cambridge family.

Both were published publicly on December 16.

However, Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge’s was leaked before hand while Charles and Camilla’s wasn’t.
