Chaos at London Euston as gas leak leaves passengers stranded
Passengers are facing severe disruption on trains in and out of London today.
Multiple rail services have been cancelled and delayed after a gas leak, leaving people stranded ‘for hours’.
Furious commuters travelling with Avanti West Coast or London Northwestern Railway have been stuck at London Euston and on trains.
Emergency services and gas engineers were called to Harrow and Wealdstone station in north west London after a five-ton gas tank began leaking.
But the knock-on effect has caused scenes of chaos in the city, particularly at Euston station.
