Camilla has shared a candid photograph of herself on Instagram ahead of the launch of her new book club, the Reading Room. Fans have responded to the post with sheer excitement, as they look forward to finding out which four books the royal will launch with.
The photo that features on the post shows Camilla glancing down as she sits in an embossed green velvet chair in the garden room of Clarence House.
It is thought she is reading a book while the photographer, Jennifer Pattison, captures the picture.
The royal wears a crisp white blouse with a black waistcoat over the top.
A few books can be seen piled up in the background, as well as the outline of a window.
The image, with its muted tones, creates an intimate and cosy atmosphere which will reflect the feel of the online resource going forward.

The photograph marks the imminent release of her Reading Room book club’s first four titles, which will be shared on Friday.
The picture was shared to Camilla’s Reading Room Instagram account, which was launched on December 31, 2020.
It has received dozens of responses from royal fans eager to participate in the Reading Room.
One person said: “What a beautiful picture! The Duchess looks so beautiful and dignified.
“So excited for Friday and very much looking forward to reading some more book.”

The Duchess’ account aims to help people “discover new books and meet the extraordinary people who create them”.
The royal hopes the page will become an online resource for literature lovers across the globe.
Camilla, who is an avid reader, hopes to encourage book fans of all ages to discover new writers through her Reading Room.
The Duchess’ project is being supported by Charlie Mackesy, author and illustrator of The Boy, The Mole, The Fox And The Horse, which has caught the imagination of many during the coronavirus pandemic.
He has shared dozens of new images to his Instagram account since the virus stuck, in an attempt to raise spirits during the crisis.
A recent illustration read: “‘Everything is cancelled.’
“‘Love isn’t cancelled,’ said the horse.”
