Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall’s special Reading Room Instagram released a new photograph and video to celebrate the end of ‘Season One’ of her book club. The video of the royal was taken in “the Morning Room at Clarence House for the Spring Season”, according to the caption. In the footage, the Duchess looks back at the launch of her personal project, describing how “thrilled” it has made her.
She told viewers: “I’d never been part of a book club so this is the first book club I’ve ever joined, which is my own.
“So it’s a completely new experience and I’m just do thrilled that other people are getting the pleasure out of it that I do.
“I mean, I get letters from all over the world, everywhere, extraordinary places.
“I have a lot from Russia, and I’ve had a few lately from Indonesia.”
Camilla continued: “Certainly Australia, America and all of Europe.
“They’re so sort of warm and friendly and then they recommend their books, which is quite nice to sort of jot down when you are thinking of books.
“There are one or two which have been really good that I hadn’t heard of.
“So I think it’s just a way that we can all communicate.”

The Duchess added: “We’ve a slight lack of communication lately with all of us locked in.
“We haven’t had our family and friends round us so it’s quite nice to sort of talk to people through books online.
“And I’ve noticed through the comments, there are a lot of people beginning to sort of chat to each other and that’s, you know, that was the idea in the first place.”
