Buckingham Palace fears second round of Harry and Meghan series 'will be poison'

The Royal Family is reportedly bracing for ‘inflammatory’ revelations in the remainder of Harry and Meghan’s Netflix docuseries.

Three more episodes will drop on the streaming service on Thursday morning.

According to royal insiders, Buckingham Palace are fearful ‘next week will be poison’.

And a source told MailOnline: ‘This was all being filmed while both the Duke of Edinburgh and the Queen – Harry’s grandparents – were suffering from serious ill-health and in the last few months of their lives.

‘They even came over to mark Her Majesty’s Jubilee while colluding with the filmmakers, without telling her what they were doing.

‘That’s shameful and cowardly. There are a lot of people who are glad the late Queen is not here to see it.’

Another insider told the outlet: ‘It looks as if they want to bring down the monarchy.

‘What else could they hope to achieve by this? It was a sly and insidious attack from start to finish.’

Harry and Meghan were accused yesterday of wanting to ‘control the narrative’ surrounding their exit from the Royal Family.

Both have stated that the series is an account of their ‘love story’ and explores the impact the press has had on their private lives.

But royal expert, Richard Fitzwilliams told Metro.co.uk: ‘Well it is all about the money, and that is clear right from the very start.

‘The first three episodes is about them controlling the narrative, they clearly wanted to have full control over what is shown and how it appears to the outside world.

‘It’s very difficult for the Royal Family to come back on any of the points that they make.’

Meanwhile, royal warfare broke out yesterday over whether the claims Harry and Meghan made were put to Buckingham Palace for comment.

This was despite the Netflix programme stating in its introduction: ‘Members of the Royal Family declined to comment on the content within this series.’

Though, it’s also understood that Netflix did, in fact, contact representatives of King Charles and the Prince of Wales.
