Ex-Suits star D.B. Woodside warned the royals to “back off” the Duchess of Sussex and insisted she is the “wrong woman to mess with”. But his comments sparked a furious reaction from Express.co.uk readers.

Commenting on this website, one fumed: “MM needs to back off and apologise!”

Another wrote: “The moron wants his 2 minutes of fame.”

A third insisted: “It’s Meghan who should back off.”

Another added: “The Royal Family have nothing to apologise for it is Megan and Harry who need to apologise.”

A fifth blasted: “The only apologies should be from MM to the Royal Family – who do these people think they are??”

Another commented: “He has got this the wrong way round she should apologize to the Royal Family.

“Another of her ‘friends’ talking rubbish, just stick to your day job.”

D.B. Woodside claimed the Royal Family should apologise to his former Suits co-star Meghan.

He told Entertainment Tonight: “Listen, the thing about her is she is strong and she is resilient.

“If they think that this kind of stuff is going to knock her off her game for very long, they picked the wrong woman to mess with.

“She is the wrong woman to mess with, they need to back up.

But the Royal Family made clear they did not agree with all of the Sussexes’ claims.

In a statement in the wake of the TV interview, Buckingham Palace highlighted how “some recollections may vary”.
