Boy and girl go missing after school and may be heading to London together
An urgent search has been launched to find two schoolchildren who vanished on Monday afternoon.
James Lea, 12, and Sami-Rose Souch, 11, were last seen at 3.15pm near Gillingham School in Dorset.
They were reported as missing at around 5:35pm yesterday evening.
It’s believed they may have travelled to Yeovil, Somerset, and then on to London.
James is described as five feet nine inches tall and with blond hair that is shaved at the sides and curly on top.
He was wearing his school uniform when he disappeared.
Sami-Rose is five feet, five inches tall, of slim build and has shoulder-length brown hair.
She was wearing black skinny jeans, a black Nike Puffer-style coat and black trainers.
Inspector Tracy Santoni, of Dorset Police, said: ‘We believe both children are together and may have travelled on a train to Yeovil and then to London.
‘Due to their young age we need to find them urgently and ensure their safety and wellbeing.
