A boy has been stabbed in an attack in Devon. The 15-year-old suffered a single stab wound in the attack in Carlton Road, Torquay, at about 6pm today (October 6). Devon and Cornwall Police said the boy is being treated at Torbay District Hospital.

The extent of his injuries is not yet known, according to Devon and Cornwall Police.

An alleged suspect, a 16-year-old boy, is in custody.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said: “We are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have information about this evening’s incident to come forward. We would also like people to check CCTV or dashcam footage if they were in the area at the time.”
