A 15-year-old boy has been reportedly charged with stabbing a teacher at a school in Gloucestershire. He will appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday. 

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article on school premises.

The incident occurred on Monday morning when the teenager stabbed teacher Jamie Sansom in a corridor at Tewkesbury School. 

He suffered a single stab injury and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and later discharged.
