Boy, 14, ‘stabbed in the back’ as schoolboy arrested for attempted murder
A schoolboy has been arrested for attempted murder after a 14-year-old was stabbed in the back at a bus stop.
The victim was rushed to hospital with serious stab wounds following the attack in Small Heath, Birmingham on Friday.
The suspect, also 14, was arrested shortly after – and has now been bailed while investigations continue, reports The Sun.
The boy was attacked near the City of Birmingham School, in Small Heath, Birmingham, on Friday.
The teen victim who was “stabbed in the back” was rushed to hospital with serious stab wounds.

Cops found and arrested the suspected attacker shortly after.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police told Express.co.uk: “A 14-year-old boy has been arrested following a stabbing in Birmingham.
“We were called to Coventry Road, Birmingham, shortly before 2pm on October 13 after a teenage boy was stabbed in the back.
“He was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“A suspect was arrested a short time later on suspicion of attempted murder.

“He has since been bailed while our investigation continues.”
A spokeswoman from West Midlands Ambulance Service told The Sun: “We were called at 1.55pm to an incident on Jenkins Street in Birmingham.
“One ambulance, a paramedic officer and a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic attended the scene.
“Upon arrival, we found a teenage boy with serious injuries.
“He received advanced trauma care from ambulance staff at the scene and was conveyed to hospital for further treatment.”
