Boy, 14, and three teenagers guilty after schoolboy shot and stabbed to deat
A 14-year-old gunman and three other teenagers aged between 16 and 18 have been found guilty of murdering schoolboy Keon Lincoln.
The youngest boy, from Birmingham, who cannot be named because of his age, stood with his hands clasped and showed little emotion as he was unanimously convicted of killing the victim, aged 15.
He was also convicted of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Keon was brutally attacked in a street near his home during daylight hours in January this year.
He was taken to hospital, but died the same afternoon after being shot and stabbed by a group of youths.
A boy aged 16 from Walsall, whose identity is also protected by a court order, was found guilty of murder today after being caught on CCTV armed with a large knife as Keon was attacked in Linwood Road, Handsworth.
Tahjgeem Breakenridge, 18, from Balsall Heath; and Michael Ugochukwu, 18, of Edgbaston, were also found guilty of murder after 15 hours and 50 minutes of deliberations.
The 16-year-old, Breakenridge and Ugochukwu were also convicted of having an offensive weapon.
Jurors will resume their deliberations on 18-year-old Kieron Donaldson, who denies murder, tomorrow.
