Boris' son Wilfred shows he's inherited PM's unruly blonde hair
Boris Johnson has seemingly passed on his blonde unruly hair to his youngest son Wilfred.
Carrie Symonds took the toddler, who is 10 months old, for a walk around Westminster, where his hair was pictured spilling out of his pushchair. Wilfred is Johnson’s sixth child and his first with fiancée Carrie Symonds.
The toddler was born in April, during the pandemic, and the British public are yet to see any official photographs of his face.
Earlier this week Johnson stepped out in public for the first time since Ms Symonds was rumoured to have given his ‘Worzel Gummidge’ haircut a trim in a DIY makeover at home.
But hair-watchers were left underwhelmed when the PM appeared in the Commons for Prime Minister’s Questions, as there was no obvious sign that his famous mop had been cut back.
Hairdressers are currently not scheduled to reopen again until April 12, at the earliest, under Johnson’s roadmap for exiting lockdown.
Ms Symonds is set to appear on this month’s issue of Tatler in an interview about what it’s like to live inside No10 as the ‘unelected influence at Downing Street’.
A statement announcing the issue said: ‘Tatler asks: “Who is the real Carrie Symonds? Is she the scheming Lady Macbeth pulling the strings inside No 10 or a fun-loving friend, feminist and mother, who just wants to save the planet?”‘
A poll conducted by the magazine revealed 69% of British adults believed Ms Symonds influenced No 10’s decision making, while one in three people said they preferred her to Johnson.
