A body has been found as police confirm they have ended their search for missing woman Jamie-Lee Wilson.

The young woman, 24, vanished on August 10 and was last seen heading towards the Springfield Road area in Belfast.

Her car, phone and bank card were found by police earlier today in Dundrod.

Northern Ireland Police said tonight they are no longer searching for her.

One heartbroken relative wrote on Twitter it ‘isn’t good news’.

A friend wrote on Facebook: ‘Heartbreaking fly high. Your family are so heartbroken. Gonna be missed by so many. All of our hearts are broke.’

A family member previously told Belfast Live: ‘We are all really worried about her and we all love and miss her. Everyone needs her home.

‘We are all heartbroken wondering where she is, the whole family just need her home where she belongs.’

The PSNI issued a statement this evening thanking the public for their help in the search.
