Body found in search for camper, 24, who disappeared five days ago
A body has been found in the search for a man who went missing while camping.
Adam Perkins, 24, was last seen at around 8pm on March 20, after he left his home in Sheffield.
He was reported missing while out camping around Great Ayton in North Yorkshire.
Police have since confirmed they found a body in the same area while searching for Adam last night.
While formal identification has yet to take place, his family are being kept informed.
Officers made the discovery after locating what they believed was Adam’s car on Thursday.
He was familiar with the area and had previously visited to go caving.
Just short of 48 hours before Adam was last seen, another camper Reece Rodger went missing.
The 28-year-old was last seen in the Kinloch Rannoch area of Perthshire, Scotland, at 11.30pm on Saturday.
He was camping with some friends on the shore of Loch Rannoch and his friends thought he was heading to get some sleep, but there was no trace of him on Sunday morning.
Officers have recently appealed for a man seen walking nearby to get in touch in case he has any information for them.
He was described as being of slim build and around 5ft 9ins in height.
He was spotted walking on the road between Learan Farm and Aulich, on the northern edge of Loch Rannoch at around 11.30pm on Saturday March 18.
