Ambulance crews were called to the family home in North Brewham on Tuesday after the millionaire’s eldest daughter Iris Annabel was involved in the crash. Iris is also the daughter of heiress Kate Rothschild and niece of Zac Goldsmith, MP for Richmond Park. A local from the village spoke of the complete shock after the 15-year-old tragically passed away.

The local told the Daily Mail: “Everyone here who’s heard what happened is devastated by this.

“The whole village has been affected by this, as you can imagine.

“Our hearts go out to her parents and family. It’s a very sensitive time.”

Iris was the first child of Ben and Kate, who apparently have a reported joint fortune of over £300million.

The two separated in 2012 and also have two sons, Frank, 13 and Isaac, 11.

Following their separation, Ben began a relationship with catering company boss Jemima Jones, with whom he has two young children, Eliza and Arlo, two years after splitting with Kate.

A family friend told the Mail: “This is the most awful accident.

“Iris was a complete firecracker – an absolute delight.

“Everyone in the family loved her to bits.

“She was beautiful, charming, intelligent, wonderful company and absolutely the loveliest person you could meet.”

Iris was reportedly a popular pupil at her Girls’ boarding school, Wycombe Abbey in High Wycombe Buckinghamshire.

Headmaster of her former school, The Harrodian, James Hooke spoke of the “grief” that has hit the school while also speaking of iris’ dedication and talent.

An inquest is expected to be opened in the coming days.
