Earlier this week, the Duchess joined Prince William during a trip across Scotland and following their visit, Kate shared a beautiful sketch of St Andrews on a postcard as a special thank you to the country.
Sharing the images on Twitter, Kensington Royal tweeted: “To the people, communities and organisations we visited and heard from; and those who stopped to wave and make our return to Scotland so special – thank you!
“Sketch of St Andrew’s by Duchess of Cambridge, 2002.”
After sharing the postcard on Twitter, many fans took to social media to praise the “talented” Duchess.
One person wrote: “A beautiful sketch, thank you for sharing.
“We can see in whose footsteps HRH follows. Absolutely wonderful!”
Another person said: “Omg how beautiful!!!
“Our Duchess is so talented.
“I loved every engagement of their tour!
“It was really good to have those good old days of a royal tour back.”
Someone else added: “Wow! The DoC is really talented! What a gorgeous sketch.
“She’s amazingly good to take photographs to draw, a truly artistic soul.
“The tour around Scotland was so much fun & interesting to follow, as a foreigner you get to learn about traditions & their beautiful places.”

While another Twitter user continued: “What a lovely way to say thank you!
“The Duchess is a woman of many talents – it would be great to see her share more of her artwork.”
Another said: “Wow, Catherine, you’re so talented and thoughtful princess!
“I love you both, it was such a wonderful royal visit.”
Many others asked to see more artwork from the Duchess.
Prince William visited Scotland to carry out duties in his role as Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.
He began his week-long visit alone last Friday and Kate joined him in Scotland on Monday.
The couple, who are officially known as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn in Scotland, began their first day of joint engagements with a visit to a social care charity.
William and Kate were in Scotland until Thursday where they met with a “variety of people from across the country as well as charities and organizations who are doing incredible work on issues such as the environment, mental health, homelessness and addiction”.
The Duke made a speech about his love of Scotland and said the country “will always have a special place in my heart”.
