The eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson welcomed a baby girl into the world on September 18. Beatrice, 33, and her husband Edoardo, 38, announced they had named the royal baby, the Queen’s 12th great-grandchild, Sienna earlier this month.
Beatrice took to Twitter to announce the birth, sharing an adorable image of the baby’s footprints with the caption: “We are delighted to share that we have named our daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi.
“We are all doing well and Wolfie [Edo’s child from a previous relationship] is the best big brother to Sienna.”
However, the senior royal has yet to share an image of the baby, a direct contrast to other family members, including mum-of-three Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, who was snapped on the steps of the hospital following their births.
Beatrice’s younger sister Eugenie, who gave birth to a boy named August on February 9, also shared images of their baby, starting with a snap of his hand on the day he was born.
She and husband Jack Brooksbank then took to Instagram 11 days later to share a series of adorable images of the three of them, including a close-up of the child, when announcing the baby’s full name.
As a result, one royal expert claims that not sharing an image is a “strategic” move on Beatrice’s part.
Eric Schiffer, royal expert and chairman of Reputation Management Consultants claims the delay in releasing an image is a “savvy” move, especially while her father the Duke of York is involved in a sex abuse civil lawsuit.
Mr Schiffer told Express.co.uk: “It’s a savvy and strategic move on Beatrice’s part.
“She doesn’t want Sienna’s baby face pictures fastened forever to Prince Andrew’s Scandalabra.”
Earlier this week, a pre-trial hearing took place over sexual abuse claims made against the Duke of York by Virginia Giuffre.
Within the civil suit, Ms Giuffre alleges she was trafficked by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to have sex with Andrew on three separate occasions when she was underage, according to US law.
Prince Andrew has consistently denied all allegations against him.
California-based expert Eric Schiffer claims Beatrice’s time with her baby has already been impacted by the accusations facing her father.

He claims this may be the reason she hasn’t shared much about her new bundle of joy.
He said: “Given Beatrice’s special moment of birth was torpedoed by her grandfather’s asphyxiating accusations, it will be a battle for Beatrice and Sienna to stay south of the spotlight.”
When asked what struggles Beatrice will face as a mother to the newest addition to the royal family, Mr Schiffer commented on what he claims are “scandals” impacting the royal family.
He claims the royal won’t be able to distance herself from the “scandals” forever.
He said: “The royal family faced a cascade of controversy since Megxit, and with Prince Andrew in danger, Beatrice’s ability to barricade herself and her family from the scandals won’t sustain in the short run.”
He also claims that the royal may be following in the footsteps of Meghan Markle, who stepped away from the Royal Family in 2020 to pursue a life in the US with her husband Prince Harry.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have yet to release an image of their second child Lilibet Diana, who was born in June.
Mr Schiffer said of the decision: “Meghan set a standard for babies circling the crown.”
However, despite no official image being released, Princess Beatrice and her husband were spotted taking their three-week-old baby for a walk in London earlier this week.
Beatrice wore a casual outfit that included tracksuit bottoms and a quilted coat, while Edo took control of the pushchair.
