BBC weather’s embarrassing blunder as crew member walks in front of forecast
A BBC weather presenter was embarrassed this week when a crew member walked into the live shot. Elizabeth Rizzini was going through the forecast for the next few days on the News at 10 when the incident happened on Tuesday evening.
She was halfway through telling viewers about today’s weather when a member of the crew walked into the frame. The person didn’t seem to realise what had happened, reading a booklet as they walked across the BBC London live shot.
The presenter did not let it phase her though and continued saying: “An improving picture from the West – but it will be feeling colder.”
