Armed police are currently on the scene of an incident in London Road South, Lowestoft with the surrounding area cordoned off.

One local who lives in the area said a “gunman on the loose” in the vicinity. 

Suffolk Police confirmed the road has been closed while they deal with an incident and will be giving more information shortly.
