‘Armed and dangerous’ fugitive wanted for ‘kidnapping and stabbing woman’

A manhunt has been launched for a ‘dangerous’ suspect who may be armed.

Lee Martin, 41, is wanted on suspicion of stabbing and kidnapping a woman in Solihull, West Midlands, on September 5.

The woman – who is known to Martin – managed to safely get out and her injuries were minor.

The suspect made off in a car when police attempted to arrest him the following day.

Martin is thought to still be in the West Midlands but police have warned the public not to approach him and to call 999 in an emergency.

West Midlands Police said:  ‘We’re urgently appealing for the public to get in touch immediately if they know the whereabouts of Lee Martin

‘The 41-year-old is wanted on suspicion of stabbing and kidnapping a woman in the #Solihull area last Sunday (5 September).

‘The woman – who is known to Martin – managed to safely get out and thankfully her injuries were minor.

‘The suspect made off in a car when police attempted to arrest him the following day.

‘We urge anyone with information about his whereabouts not to approach him as we believe he is dangerous and could be armed.’
