Senior members of the Royal Family assembled alongside some lesser-known guests for an official photo at the christening of baby Archie.

His parents, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, picked a small line-up to join them for one of just two pictures released from the private event – including the two older sisters of Princess Diana.

Meghan and sister-in-law the Duchess of Cambridge both wowed observers with their fashion choices on the day, while there was plenty of history behind the gown worn by Archie himself.
