In the adorable clip, Meghan Markle reads the children’s book Duck! Rabbit! to Archie, who turns one today. And the tot, who is wearing a T-shirt as he sits on the Duchess of Sussex’s lap, looks just like Harry when he was a similar age.

The video, filmed by Harry in America where the Sussexes are living during the coronavirus lockdown, was posted on Save the Children UK’s Instagram and Twitter.

The video has been released in support of the charity’s Save with Stories campaign, which aims to raise funds for children and families in the UK and around the world struggling during the coronavirus crisis.

The caption says: “‘Duck! Rabbit!’ with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex (and Harry, The Duke of Sussex behind the camera), read to their son Archie for his 1st birthday. Happy Birthday, Archie!

“Thank you #DuchessMeghan for helping us to raise urgent funds for our coronavirus appeal by reading ‘Duck! Rabbit!'”

Royal fans reacted with excitement, with some pointing out the similarities between Harry and his son.

A Twitter user said: “Archie looks like Harry! Happy birthday Archie!”

Another wrote: “Happy Birthday Archie! You are a cutie. He is going to have red hair from the looks of it like Harry.”

A third said: “Archie is like Harry.”

One wrote on Instagram: “Happy 1st birthday Archie. He is just beautiful, looking like daddy.”

A fifth said: “Happy first bday, Archie!!!! He so cute!!!! His squishy little face.”

Archie was born at London’s Portland Hospital on May 6 2019 at 5.26am weighing 7lb 3oz.

A few days later Meghan and Harry showed him to the world.

Archie was also seen at a charity polo march in July 2019 with Prince William, Kate and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The Sussexes also took him on their Africa tour last autumn.

It has been an eventful 12 months for the youngster.

Since his arrival, Meghan and Harry have quit royal life and moved to Los Angeles.

Archie’s first home was Frogmore Cottage in the grounds of Windsor Castle, then a mansion on Vancouver Island in Canada and now he lives in California with parents.

The Sussexes announced plans to step back as senior royals in a bombshell statement in January.

They had hoped to continue supporting the Queen while earning their own money but the idea was deemed unworkable.

They officially ended royal duties on March 31.

The Queen wished Archie a happy first birthday in a post on the Royal Family’s Instagram and Twitter.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also marked Archie’s birthday on their Kensington Palace social media accounts.
