Applause rings out across UK in second Clap for Carers and key workers
Brits have come out in full force to clap for carers and key workers on the frontline of the coronavirus battle.
A national round of applause rung out across the UK at 8pm tonight, in what appears to be becoming a weekly tradition.
Last Thursday thousands of people across the UK showed their appreciation as they applauded and cheered from their doorsteps and balconies for NHS and social workers.
Tonight people did not disappoint, with videos showing grateful members of the public bashing pots and pans together to cheer on all key workers.
People thanked shop workers, teachers, police and delivery drivers as they put their hands together and clapped for a minute.
