£110,000,000 up for grabs on Friday as EuroMillions jackpot rolls over

What would be your first purchase after matching all seven numbers and winning the jackpot?

Personally, I’d be getting myself a grand piano – possibly Elton John’s ‘million dollar piano’, which he claims is not for sale but might feel differently about if I offered £50,000,0000.

Unfortunately, the only ‘you’re a winner’ notification I get is for a free lucky dip… and they don’t even do that for the EuroMillions.

I digress.

SOMEONE, though, could be coining it in on Friday, with the prize money for the draw rolling over to a massive £110 million.

It isn’t the biggest ever prize money to go on offer, but you’d probably take it.

Nobody won in the draw last night, so the money has now been added to the current pot.

If there still isn’t a winner next time, the cash will keep rolling over until it gets to the maximum prize, which is currently €230 million (around £193 million) and could be reached around December 10.

After that, if still nobody hits the jackpot after a month then the money will be distributed among winners at the second highest prize tier.

But for now, it’s all still in play.

The cost of a ticket is £2.50, which includes entry to the UK Millionaire Maker.

Last month, a French ticket holder won a record £184 million jackpot.

If the winning ticket had been bought in the UK, it would have been the country’s highest-winning draw of all time.

Players can enter EuroMillions from nine different countries (Ireland, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the UK).

The odds of picking seven numbers correctly are just one in 139,838,160.
