Many countries start rolling out Covid-19 jabs for children
SINGAPORE – Many countries have started to include children as young as 12 years in their mass Covid-19 vaccination drives to stem a surge in coronavirus cases.
Health regulatory authorities have approved the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for use on an emergency basis for 12- to 15-year-olds after data showed that it is safe and has high efficacy for this age group. Experts have also said the move to vaccinate children will accelerate nations’ efforts to drive down infections and herald a return to normalcy,
