Moment subway surfers walk atop train crossing NYC's Williamsburg bridge

A group of subway surfers were captured in a shocking video standing on top of a moving subway train in Brooklyn, New York on Friday.
Footage shows a group of at least eight people surfing atop the subway cars as the train crosses the Williamsburg Bridge in New York City, according to Storyful.
Wearing mostly black, the group of daredevils can be seen moving between train cars, some quickly skipping between cars while other opted to sit along the edge between cars.
One of the thrill seekers appears to be dancing on top of the train, which was traveling from Manhattan’s Lower East Side into Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The shocking video appears to have been recorded from one of the many high-rise buildings located near the bridge.
A New York City Police Department spokesperson said police are aware of the video and are looking into the incident. Those involved may be charged with trespassing and reckless endangerment.
A man was killed after allegedly subway surfing atop the same train in 2021, according to ABC 7 New York.
In that incident, a 32-year-old man was also riding on top of the J-train heading toward the Williamsburg bridge when he reportedly lost his footing and fell from the train to the tracks below. He was later struck by the train and ultimately died.
