YouTube legend 'Angry German Kid' who smashed up computer in viral rage is UNRECOGNISABLE now as rapping bodybuilder

A YOUTUBE legend who smashed up his computer in a viral video game rage is unrecognisable now as a rapping bodybuilder.

The 14-year-old boy – dubbed "Angry German Kid" – became an internet sensation after he was captured exploding with anger and frustration while trying to play Unreal Tournament 2004.

The kid, identified as Norman Kochanowski, was filmed by his dad while he was playing the violent video game in 2006.

In the footage, he erupts with fury and starts ranting in German and smashing his keyboard when the game slows down and he realises he's losing the tournament.

The game eventually reboots and he laughs manically as he stabs the keyboard.

The boy's delight soon fades and he slams the keyboard mercilessly against the desk, dislodging some of the keys.

The clip went viral after it was sent to a local TV station and Norman soon became known on the internet as both the "Angry German Kid" and the "Keyboard Crusher".

Norman's outburst of anger was soon transformed into hundreds of memes, which he later said wasn't a positive experience for him as a teenager.

It was one of the first viral videos to bubble up on YouTube in the early days of the internet.

And the famous kid is unrecognisable 15 years later – now known as Hercules Beatz with nearly 60,000 YouTube subscribers.

He appears to be a rapper and a bodybuilder, posting clips of his latest music releases and heavyweight lifting sessions to his fans.

In 2018, Norman acknowledged his past as a viral sensation and shared a video on his YouTube channel of him watching the raging clip from 2006.

It racked up more than 1.1million views and thousands of comments.

But Norman has since shared the darker side to his teenage life in the years after he shot to internet fame.

Speaking on YouTube in 2019, he said he went "nuts" after people started making fun of him.

He said he dyed his hair black, threw his glasses away and wore contact lenses so he wouldn't be recognised as the "Angry German Kid".

But the online attention continued and he said he wanted people "to be afraid" of him.

He said: "I wanted people to be afraid of me because when they are afraid of me they don't make fun of me."

Norman said he was kicked out of school after he went "crazy" and made threats in the classroom.

After a few difficult years, Norman said he came out of the other side and looked for an apprenticeship.

But he claimed every employer recognised him as the "Angry German Kid".

He said he couldn't find a job for two years and spent the time building his bodybuilding career and managed to turn his life around.

Norman said: "I finally got an apprenticeship and that year my life became great, from a horror life which was not worth living, to a great life."

He added: "I found a new group of people… and then a got a girlfriend, a new car – suddenly everything was great."
