Young mum found dismembered in cave after ‘Satanic murder’ by ‘jealous partner’

A young mum has been found burned and dismembered in a cave after it's believed she was murdered by her 'jealous' boyfriend in a sick satanic ritual.

Mum-of-one Sharoom Leon Jara, 23, was discovered surrounded by dead animals and satanic objects in Lima, Peru, days after she went missing.

The woman's boyfriend Nick Brayan Leon Chumpitaz confessed to killing Sharoom in a 'jealous blind rage,' reports Peru 21 .

His ex girlfriend helped the family find Sharoom after she told them he had tried to kill her at a cave just outside the city Ni Maracana hill, El Agustino.

Sharoom went missing on March 12 after she went to meet Chumpitaz, 24, in Chaclacayo, near Lima.

Her family grew concerned when she did not turn up to collect her seven-year-old son, who she had left in the care of his father and her former partner.

He told the victim's sister Mayra, who then confronted Chumpita and found him with scratches over his face.

However, he allegedly told her he had not seen the victim since they had a row at around 11pm on the day she went missing and swore on her dead grandma's grave.

She told expreso.com : "He said he had been with my sister on March 12 from 7 to 11 at night, that they had been drinking at the Women's Park and had had an argument. That she had scratched his face and that he had let her go, "Mayra said.

Shortly after Chumpitaz's ex girlfriend rang the family and told them that when she was in a relationship with him he tried to kill her near a cave in 2016.

Police searched the area on Wednesday night and found Sharoom's body cut into pieces and burned.

Chumpitaz's ex said she reported the incident to the Depincri of El Agustino but after being examined by the medical examiner, she left the country and dropped the complaint as she was too scared.

Chumpitaz was arrested and admitted to murdering Sharoom after 'carrying out witchcraft on her.'

He is being held on suspicion of femicide in the Depincri de El Agustino, while investigations continue.

Sharoom's family claim that they found dark and threatening messages on her phone that were sent by the suspect.
