X Factor star Betsy-Blue English reveals she was 'spiked' with injection on night out in terrifying ordeal
X FACTOR star Betsy-Blue English has revealed she was 'spiked' with an injection while enjoying a night out with pals.
The 22-year-old shared her terrifying ordeal with her Instagram followers on Thursday as she felt it was "irresponsible not to."
Betsy-Blue – who appeared on The X Factor in 2014 with her band Only The Young – told how she had been out celebrating over Halloween last weekend in London when she was horrifically jabbed with a needle.
Betsy-Blue explained to her 171,000 followers: "I didn't want to post this but after much thought this week, I feel its irresponsible not to.
"Someone tried to spike me using an injection at the weekend.
"We've seen all the social media posts, heard the stories but it's seriously real and it's happening."
She shared a picture of her punctured skin alongside the post, which also appeared to be bruised.
The singer slash influencer chillingly warned her supporters to keep their wits about them as it "really doesn't matter where you are."
She continued: "I've only ever been spiked by high profile people…doesn't matter how safe you feel with your surroundings, stay very vigilant.
"I'm literally only posting this to raise more awareness."
She had previously showed off her stunning outfit as she dressed up as a bunny to celebrate the spooky season.
Betsy-Blue was also seen partying at the exclusive Isabel nightclub in Mayfair last Friday.
There is no suggestion that this is the evening or venue where the alleged incident took place.
She donned a baby blue PVC jumpsuit and joked she had dressed up as herself on an earlier Instagram post.
