WWE star Lars Sullivan in online storm ‘as racist comments emerge’

Sullivan – a recent WWE  call-up – has had a large dossier of posts attributed to him shared on Reddit.

The posts were made on a popular bodybuilding forum, and have been made by an account linked to Lars – which includes personal photos of him before he joined the WWE.

It appears the account has been inactive since 2014, just months after Lars – real name Dylan Miley – signed with WWE to train in NXT.

WWE mainstay Big E has fuelled the fire as he took to Twitter responding to a fan saying “many are aware” of the allegations.

Daily Star Online has approached WWE for comment on the matter, and Sullivan, 30, has not yet issued a statement.

He was responding to a fan who shared the Reddit post with the comment, “are you aware of this racist asshole that you’re going going to have to work with?”.

The New Day member said: “Many are aware. If true, he has to bear the albatross of being a bigot and working in a company that is now filled with minorities.”

His tweet was shared almost 900 times and liked more than 5,000 times.

Bryan Alvarez, who hosts Wrestling Observer Live, claimed on his radio show that it is “zero mystery in WWE that he did this”.

The pundit said: “They are not going to fire him. How is Lars going to react to this? I don’t know.”

He added: In WWE’s minds, he did this and he apologised for it.

“He told them that he was wrong and that he was remorseful and in their minds, it is a done deal.

“I don’t know how he is going to respond to Big E and apparently other people in the locker room being unhappy with what he posted on the internet.”

Previous allegations regarding the comments had surfaced a few months round the time of Sullivan was set to debut on Raw.

It had been reported that his first appearance on the main roster was delayed due to an “anxiety” attack.

Sullivan was trained at the WWE Performance Centre and made his wrestling but in a showcase during the weekend of WrestleMania 31.

He made his debut on NXT in April 2017, where he was presented as an unstoppable monster.

WWE then teased his debut in November at Survivor Series last year, but he didn’t actually appear on Raw or SmackDown until April 8.
