The dead body of a woman has been found inside a charity bin after she reportedly got trapped inside.
A cleaner made the grim discovery outside a shopping centre on the Gold Coast in Australia.
The woman, 43, is believed to have died after getting half her body stuck in the pull-down chute of the donation bin.
Police were called to the scene at the Stockland Burleigh Heads shopping centre just after 7am on Monday.
Officers initially established a crime scene but later said the death had been caused by "misadventure".
Queensland Police confirmed the death is being treated as non-suspicious.
Paramedics raced to the scene but could not save her.
They announced she was dead upon their arrival.
Firefighters were also called to the shopping centre to help cut the bin open, 9News reports.
But it remains unknown why she went into the bin, according to 7News.
The shopping centre described it as a "tragic incident" and confirmed it is helping with the police probe.
