Where to buy a clearance return pallet?

IF YOU love a bargain, then you might want to explore getting a clearance return pallet.

Companies including Amazon and Argos have begun distributing the discounted boxes of goods. But let's take a look at what they are exactly before you decide to purchase one.

What is a clearance return pallet?

A clearance return pallet is pretty much what it says on the tin – a pallet of items that have been returned to a company and are now being sold for clearance.

The goods could have been returned for any reason – whether faulty or just unwanted by the customer.

Distributors will then package a bunch of them for a discounted price.

In a homeware themed pallet, you could find anything from microwaves, kettles, toasters, irons and bins – to kitchenware, fairy lights, aromatherapy oils, mops and wall clocks.

However, you can purchase branded clearance return pallets from sites including eBay, where sellers can offer pallets of products from stores like Costco or Amazon.

Where to buy a clearance return pallet?

eBay offer a great range of return pallets – whether you're looking to fit a particular room in your house or buy from your favourite retailer.

For Amazon pallets, the company partnered with B-Stock to launch Amazon Liquidation Auctions.

Amazon Liquidation Auctions is the official b2b marketplace where you can buy overstock merchandise directly from Amazon.

In order to bid on an auction, you first have to register with B-Stock and be approved to bid. There is no fee for applying or for being an approved buyer.

Right now, Amazon Liquidation Auctions is only accepting applications from the US and you must have a valid reseller certificate to be eligible.

In the UK, you can register on the Amazon EU Liquidation Auctions marketplace separately.

Here's more retailers that sell return pallets:

What other return pallets are there?

There are also liquidation return pallets available to purchase.

For many retailers, when an item is returned from an online or in-store purchase it cannot be sold.

While many have turned to liquidation and wholesale to resell their excess inventory, some struggle to keep up with huge quantities.

As an option to get rid of bulk goods, liquidation pallets are sold to buyers who hope they come across a product with no faults, minimal damage or that can be fixed.
