The Royals are known to let their hair down at Royal Ascot to enjoy the races.

But even they would have been shocked by Mark Roberts’ display at the 2003 meeting.

Mr Roberts gained access to the course disguised as a woman, who he dubbed “Lady Muck”.

Mark soon discarded this dress, and bolted down the down the track.

He said: “As soon as I was on the course, still in full dress, it seemed awfully quiet.

“They probably thought I was a drunken posh tart getting carried away.

“As soon as I whipped my clothes and bra off, the ladies erupted in squares of laughter.

“It was as if they were on a massive hen night, the buzz I got was out of this world.”

Even the jockeys got in on the act in 2013.

Entering the dressing room, Channel 4 cameras interviewed the jockeys on what was to be a huge day of racing.

Unfortunately for viewers, one strode into view completely naked.

It’s not just the boys baring all at Ascot.

Ladies Day sees its fair share of carnage in racing, and Ascot is no different.

A number of women have found clothes too difficult to wear after a bucket load of champers.

One unfortunate punter was even caught with her pants down by the main entrance gate.

And another lifts her dress, revealing more than she expected to.

The naughtiness is not just confined to Royal Ascot.

Naked punters seem to be a staple at racing events with many other courses hit by nude hijinks in recent years.

At Aintree in Liverpool, two lasses got topless and ran on the racecourse in 2011.

While four women dressed in Wales-themed outfits certainly flashed a lot of flesh.
