Video shows moments before Jessi Combs’ fatal land-speed record attempt

New video shows star racer Jessi Combs attempting to beat her own land-speed record — moments before her fatal crash.

The “Fastest Woman on Four Wheels” can be seen zooming across Oregon’s Alvord Desert in her jet-powered car, in the footage from last week published by TMZ on Wednesday.

A bright plume of white smoke trails Combs as she attempts to break the 477.59 mph record she set in 2016.

The clip ends before the fiery crash that completely wrecked the vehicle and killed the 39-year-old auto legend.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

In a statement about her death, Combs’ family said that her “most notable dream was to become the fastest woman on Earth, a dream she had been chasing since 2012.

“Combs was one of the rare dreamers with the bravery to turn those possibilities into reality, and she left this earth driving faster than any other woman in history.”
