Urgent hunt for woman, 32, missing for a week as 'concerned' cops say disappearance 'out of character' and man arrested
POLICE have launched an urgent hunt for a woman who has been missing for a week
Petra Srncova, 32, who lives in the Camberwell area of South London, was reported missing on December 3 by a concerned work colleague.
A man has been arrested in connection with her disappearance and remains in police custody.
Police have said her disappearance is "out of character" as they launched an appeal for help to find her.
Petra was last seen at 7.45pm on November 28 and is believed to have been wearing a green coat and carrying a red backpack.
The Met has contacted her family in her native Czech Republic, but they haven't heard from her.
Police are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and urged anyone who's seen her or has information about her whereabouts, to contact themimmediately.
Detective Superintendent Clair Kelland, from the Central South Command Unit which covers the area that Petra lives in, said: “Petra’s disappearance is out of character and, of course, her family and friends are very worried.
