UK weather maps show ’19 inches of snow coming’ in seven-day Arctic blast
Brits are in for a hefty dump of snow in the coming days with advanced weather maps predicting flurries across the country.
Talk of a big fall has been on Brits’ lips for some time, but now it seems that the white stuff could really be on its way in abundance.
Weather forecasters have warned March could be the one for a heavy load and now it seems the UK is in for a proper Arctic blast with an icy front making its way across the country.

The first flurries are due to make landfall on Monday, March 6, with snow moving south down the country over the coming days.
WX Charts' maps show flurries are expected across a number of cities in the UK including Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Southampton and Cardiff.
Much of northeastern Scotland can expect to see up to 38cm (15in) of snowfall over the coming 10 days.
By Sunday (March 12) as much as 48cm (19in) could have called on parts of the Highlands.

Small flurries are expected in the Highlands as soon as Monday, with the east coast and northeast of England, as well as Scotland, anticipating more of a dollop on Tuesday, March 7.
A big dump is also expected to crash into the north coast of Scotland on March 10 and could drift down inland in the following days.
Ahead of Monday and Tuesday’s dumps the Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for the northeast of both Scotland and England with possible travel disruption and icy surfaces.
The south of the country is also expected to see significant snowfall, with three waves on next Thursday, Saturday and Sunday bringing the white stuff to Cardiff, London and East Anglia, according to WX Charts.
Birmingham could be in for decent snowfalls next Saturday with some 4cm (1.5in) dropping, although little else is expected on other days.
London, surprisingly, could be in for a bit more, with the possibility of 6cm (2.3in) settling next Sunday.
Meanwhile, Cardiff looks to be set for a monster dumping in around 10 days' time, with next Sunday promising to bring with it some 15cm (6in) of snow.
In the same period, Southampton could be in for around 8cm (3in).
