A yellow weather warning from the Met Office says frequent snow showers and icy stretches are likely to cause travel disruption. The public should exercise caution on the roads, both when driving and on foot. There is likely some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths. Public transport users should pre-plan their journey and be prepared for longer journey times by road, bus and train services.
