Mueller condemns Trump’s praise for WikiLeaks

Former special counsel Robert Mueller is condemning President Donald Trump’s praise for WikiLeaks during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Testifying before the House intelligence committee, Mueller says calling it “problematic is an understatement.”

During that campaign, WikiLeaks released troves of hacked emails from the campaign of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

U.S. intelligence agencies and Mueller’s investigation determined Russian government entities were responsible for the hack and furnished the embarrassing correspondence to WikiLeaks in order to support Trump’s bid for the presidency.

    Film legend Elizabeth Taylor’s iconic green Rolls-Royce is set to fetch £2.8m at auction – The Sun

    ELIZABETH Taylor’s luxury Rolls Royce is expected to fetch £2.8million in an auction of the Hollywood legend's belongings.

    The smoke-green bespoke creation, dubbed the Green Goddess, is on display at The Pierre Hotel in New York until the auction begins.

    The seats were also dyed a similar colour, and the car transported Taylor to Rome, where she filmed “Cleopatra.”

    The Rolls will be auctioned at the Pierre Hotel on 61st Avenue on Tuesday, August 6 at 10.30 a.m. and will be on display over the next two weeks.

    Liz, who died in 2011 aged 79, ordered the car after her 1959 wedding to singer Eddie Fisher, the fourth of her seven husbands.

    Her 1960 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II convertible isn’t the only thing to go on sale, with her Versace dress and Louboutin evening bag also being up for grabs.




    Equifax Inc Q2 adjusted earnings Beat Estimates

    Equifax Inc (EFX) released a profit for second quarter that dropped from the same period last year.

    The company’s profit totaled $66.8 million, or $0.55 per share. This compares with $144.8 million, or $1.19 per share, in last year’s second quarter.

    Excluding items, Equifax Inc reported adjusted earnings of $170.8 million or $1.40 per share for the period.

    Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.36 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts’ estimates typically exclude special items.

    The company’s revenue for the quarter rose 0.4% to $880.0 million from $876.9 million last year.

    UK PM Johnson gives brother Jo government role

    LONDON, July 24 (Reuters) – British Prime Minister Boris Johnson gave his younger brother Jo Johnson a job in his new government on Wednesday, appointing him as a minister of state at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, the PM’s office said in a statement.     TechnipFMC plc Q2 adjusted earnings Beat Estimates

    TechnipFMC plc (FTI) revealed a profit for second quarter that decreased from last year.

    The company’s bottom line came in at $97.0 million, or $0.21 per share. This compares with $105.7 million, or $0.23 per share, in last year’s second quarter.

    Excluding items, TechnipFMC plc reported adjusted earnings of $175.6 million or $0.39 per share for the period.

    Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.35 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts’ estimates typically exclude special items.

    The company’s revenue for the quarter rose 15.9% to $3.43 billion from $2.96 billion last year.
