A UFO hunter was shocked when he checked footage from his home security camera and saw what he believed to be an "orb" hiding from a storm.

Leslie Meadows spotted the mysterious object in the video clip and it appeared to hover while moving up and down as the weather took hold.

The clip was shared on UFO Sightings Daily by Scott Waring, a "seasoned UFO hunter" who scrutinises NASA footage in search of alien life.

He claimed that the clip was "absolute proof" of alien life, saying: "Now door cams and cameras, in general, are an important tool for catching alien phenomena and this video is absolute proof of that.

"An eyewitness caught a bright glowing orb during a snowstorm last week and the orb seems to be taking a rest under the roof of the front porch.

"It also is hovering near the front window of the house, looking in, watching the activities inside the home. This is 100% proof that aliens are watching us, like it or not."

It comes amid reports that UFOs have been "disabling nuclear warheads" and interfering with military training, according to two US Air Force veterans who spoke out at a recent hearing.

The accounts were given at the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office – or AARO – which is probing alleged alien sightings near military bases, according to the Daily Star.

Former US Air Force intercontinental ballistic missile launch officer Robert Salas testified he was on duty at Malmstrom air force base in Montana on March 24, 1967, when an orange disc-shaped UFO briefly hovered over the front gate.

Seconds after security reported the sighting to Mr Salas all 10 of the missiles at the base dropped offline and the nukes were said to be "un-launchable", and "it took several hours to repair and retarget them".

Although a probe was launched, no explanation was ever seemingly found for the missiles' shutdown.
