Police launch manhunt after two teenagers were shot – and one of them also stabbed – in incident in north east London
- The attack took place in Walthamstow at 10.30pm on Sunday night
- An 18-year-old had gunshot wounds and another, 17, had been shot and stabbed
- Police are appealing for witnesses and no arrests have been made
Two teenagers have been shot and stabbed in the latest shocking incident to rock Wild West London.
The men, aged 18 and 17, were rushed to hospital after the attack just after 10.30pm on St James Street in Walthamstow.
When police arrived, they found the 18-year-old with a gunshot wound, while the second teenager was found shortly after with a gunshot and stab wound.

The first victim is believed to be in a stable condition while officers are awaiting an update on the condition of the second.
It is believed both of the men were attacked on the street, according to MyLondon.
No arrests have been made and police are appealing for witnesses.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: ‘Police were called at 10.36pm on Sunday, 29 December to reports of a male suffering from a gunshot injury on St James Street in Walthamstow.
The first victim is believed to be in a stable condition while officers are awaiting an update on the condition of the second
‘Officers, including firearms officers, attended. The 18-year-old man was taken by the London Ambulance Service to east London hospital.
‘A second male, believed to be aged 17, was found nearby suffering from stab wounds and a gunshot injury.’
