Twitter rails on Chris Cuomo after bizarre coronavirus meltdown

Twitter responded to TV host Chris Cuomo’s bizarre radio meltdown with one word Tuesday: “Fredo!”

The brother of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo had gone all existential on his satellite show Monday night after his battle with the coronavirus, claiming, “I don’t like what I do professionally. I don’t think it’s worth my time.”

But many tweeters didn’t take too kindly to what they described as bratty comments from a privileged CNN star — who also famously let loose a profanity-laced tirade last summer against a critic for calling him “Fredo,” referring to the hapless son of Vito Corleone in the classic mob flick “The Godfather.”

“FREDO FREDO FREDO FREDO FREDO FREDO,” one person wrote.

Another said, “As always. it’s all about Fredo-Chris….such a cry baby.”

One tweeter referred to the famous “Godfather” scene in which a character ends up with a horse head in his bed as a message from Corleone to get in line.

“@ChrisCuomo AKA Fredo is gonna end up with a horse head in his bed,” the poster said.

Chris Cuomo said in his radio rant that he hated the fact that because he is famous, he couldn’t tell off a biker who came by his home, saw him outside and complained about social distancing.

A Twitter user addressed CNN, saying, “So you hire privileges by birth @ChrisCuomo who doesn’t want the job because he can’t assault bikers …?”
