Trump's first year: Approval ratings at around 30 percent
Al Jazeera goes to Mount Sterling, Kentucky, to meet some of the roughly one-third of Americans that still support the US president after his first year in office.
It’s been a year since President Donald Trump took the oath of office, and most polls show his most ardent support comes from roughly 30 percent of Americans.
In the first of a five-part series, we ask who the 30 percent are, and what is it about the president’s so-called “America First” policies that maintain his support?
