QAnon is a conspiracy theory that alleges the US President is battling a cabal of elite Satan-worshipping paedophiles.

One Twitter user wrote: “This Trump town hall is a f***ing disaster for him.

“He just refused to denounce QAnon and now he’s having a meltdown.”

The interview host, Savannah Guthrie, asked President Trump to denounce the conspiracy theory.

She said: “QAnon is a theory that Democrats are a Satanic paedophile ring & you are their saviour.”

She asked Mr Trump to “once and for all” state that the theory is not true.

He replied: “I know nothing about QAnon.” 

The host quickly responded: “I just told you.”
