Trump renews attacks on Jim Cramer after CNBC host’s ‘Crazy Nancy’ apology

President Trump on Sunday renewed his attacks on Jim Cramer after the CNBC host apologized for referring to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as “Crazy Nancy” during an interview last week.

“Jim, to late to take it back. Stay with the truth, no pandering!,” Trump said in a tweet, misspelling “too.”

The “Mad Money” host called Pelosi “Crazy Nancy,” one of the president’s favorite monikers for the California Democrat, when he was interviewing her about a coronavirus stimulus plan stalled in Congress.

“Earlier today, when I talked to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on ‘Squawk on the Street,’ I made a very stupid comment,” Cramer said last Tuesday. “It was a tongue-in-cheek attempt to make a point about the harsh tone of the negotiations in Washington, but it fell completely flat and I apologize for that.”

Cramer said he has an “incredible amount of respect” for Pelosi and the office she holds.

But Trump warned Cramer not to say he’s sorry.

“Jim, you didn’t make a mistake. It’s true, and that’s why you said it. No pandering!” Trump wrote in a tweet.
