Tributes to 'irreplaceable' woman, 25, killed in horror crash just after becoming guardian to her two teen sisters | The Sun
TRIBUTES have been paid to an "irreplaceable" woman who was killed in a car crash shortly after becoming the legal guardian of her two teenage sisters.
Natalie Marshall, 25, died when her Mercedes C Class smashed into a tree on the outskirts of Darlington at 3.15am on Friday. A 21-year-old man was badly hurt.
EE sales rep Natalie had recently taken in her little sisters, 17, and 14, with the three sharing a home in St Helen Auckland, Co. Durham.
Close family friend Shannon Murray, 25, has now started an online fundraiser to help provide for the two youngsters.
"They were Natalie's world and she fought so hard to make sure both girls had a good life," Shannon told the Northern Echo.
"She put the kids before herself and she would make sure they were ok. She grafted her backside off to make sure they had everything they wanted at Christmas and for birthdays."

Natalie had been waiting for "years" to have guardianship, and had "just finally got it", Shannon said.
The fundraiser has already raised more than £2,000.
It will be used to make sure the girls have enough for uniforms, food, holidays and trips out.
The youngsters are being cared for by family.

Natalie's older sister, Chloe Coleman, 28, said: "It was a privilege to know Natalie and for me to be her sister.
“She was someone who cannot be replaced.
“She was the soul of everything and she had such an infectious laugh.
"The stories would just come out of her. There will never be another Natalie.”
"Natalie was the one with the big personality out of all of us," Shannon added.
"She was the life and soul of everyone's party.
"What has happened has shocked all of us."
She said Natalie "lived every day as if it was her last".
