Karen Sadler was knocked out and left bruised by her “handsome” romeo who had swept her off her feet on the Tinder date. 

She recalled how he seemed like a “charming businessman” – but turned into Jekyll and Hyde.

The mum, from Australia, has released pictures of her horrific injuries following the attack.

She had arranged to go on a date with the man while on holiday in Ibiza after swiping right on the profile of a man called Alain.

His profile described him as a 48-year-old Harvard-educated lawyer and businessman, who lived in Switzerland.

Karen and Alain chatted for a while, and eventually they agreed to meet for a date.

“Alain was charming and professional, and also a father,” she told news.com.au.

“We went to a nice dinner and enjoyed and dined alfresco at an Iberian seafood restaurant. It all seemed to be going well.”

Alain then wooed Karen to return to his villa, but as she went to leave he flipped and launched a horrific attack.

Karen thought Alain was about go go in for a kiss, but instead he punched her in the head as he walked her to door. 

She then fell down a flight of stairs and dropped her phone.

The mum was only saved by the taxi driver who had arrange to meet her form the villa.

Heroically the cabbie bundled her into the back of the car and took her to hospital.

Karen said: “It was the most random thing. This man went from Dr Jekyll to Mr Hyde in a split moment.”

She suffered a concussion, a cut on her eye, which was badly swollen, and significant bruising.

Karen said there was absolutely no warning she was in danger, nor were there any red flags during the evening.

The man’s Tinder profile paints a picture of a professional who enjoys spending his downtime in Ibiza.

Alain’s bio reads: “I am a lawyer and businessman and returned from Singapore and Hong Kong after five years.

“I live in Switzerland now. I love good food and red wine. 

“I have a five-year-old daughter in my care and an excellent relationship with her mom for 20 years. I am secure and know what I like and what I want.

“I have lived on three continents and if I am not wise at least I might have some perspective.”
