Three arrested in connection to November 2018 shooting in Lindsay
Three people have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Lindsay in November 2018.
A 27-year-old man entered Ross Memorial Hospital around 3 a.m. with a gunshot wound, City of Kawartha Lakes Police say. The man was treated for his life-threatening injury and transported to a hospital in the Toronto area.
On Wednesday, police said an extensive investigation determined the shooting incident occurred at an apartment building on William Street North in Lindsay and involved two shooters.
The shooting victim has since been released from hospital.
Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Jesse Borden, 22, of Scarborough, has been charged with discharging a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless use of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm and pointing a firearm.
Joel McFarlane, 28, of Mississauga, has been charged with charged with discharging a firearm, using a firearm while committing an offence, pointing a firearm (two counts), possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, break and enter to a dwelling house, disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence, possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, careless use of a firearm and possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
Jamie Graham Mark, 31, of Little Britain in the City of Kawartha Lakes, has been charged with accessory after the fact to commit an indictable offence.
Borden appear in court on Jan. 29, McFarlane made a court appearance on Jan. 30 and Mark is scheduled to appear in court on March 7, according to police.
